Holo Comparisons

I’m working all week so I don’t have time to do my nails, but since we actually got some sun for once, I thought I could show you some comparisons between my holographic polishes.

This post is dedicated to my trusty swatchsicle flower pot!

On to the swatches!

First, greens and blues.

Purples.

Silvers, greys and blacks.

Reds and pinks.

Oh, and the ‘sicles are made with “nails” from nail wheels and wood coffee stirrers, glued together by a hot glue gun.

Do you keep a stash of swatches to look through and compare colors?

  1. Whoa! I chose my favorites from each photo without looking the stick and the label…guess what…they all ended up being ChG, except one NfuOh. =D China Glaze holos are the best!

  2. What a great post, I will save a permanent link to this!

  3. Wow, så många skönheter! Jag har inte ens i närheten av lika många holosar.

    • Jeg har ikke så mange holos jeg heller, noen har jeg solgt eller swappet, men jeg har tatt vare på swatchene så jeg kan sammenligne. :)

  4. I think the MAK (MakeUpStore) holos are the best – here you only showed the blue one, but that one definetely beats the other blue holos!!
    Thanks for this great comparison!

  5. All of these are so great! Cute flower pot too :)

  6. What a great reference post! Thank you!

  7. I love your swatch pot! OMG the blue holo from the Makeup Store is beautiful! Great post :)

  8. *Sigh* I have to get the other 2 Make Up Store holos.. But att least they are easy to come by :)

  9. That China Glaze IDK looks so holo-y!

  10. Jag älskar Siw från Make up Store… de andra ser också helt underbara ut, men jag vet att jag kan få tag på Make up Store här :)
Har redan Britta från Make up Store.. underbart holo lack :)
Gillar din idé hur du har gjort swatcherna :)
    Kram

  11. Dette er jo bare en helt fantastisk genial måte å vise frem lakkene på! :D Så utrolig mange flotte hololakker :D

  12. Your swatch method is brilliant! I am even now, as I type, ripping it off. I’ve made my first 5 swatchsicles! Thank you!

  13. Sorry to comment again, but I was wondering if you had a link to these nail tips? I like the size and look of these ones. Thank you!

  14. Brilliant.. amazing. Thank you so much for this swatching method, I’m in love!

  15. This is such a great idea! Now I’m rethinking the recent purchase of a gazillion nail wheels to swatch my collection on!
